Role overview
This opportunity is posted for a partner organization that oversees the application process and all subsequent hiring steps. The hiring company is seeking a Content Marketing Strategist located in the United States.
You will join a rapidly scaling business operating at the crossroads of clean energy, finance, and technology. Content is a key driver of how the company educates the market, strengthens its reputation, and supports growth. In this position, you will turn intricate financial and energy topics into clear, persuasive stories for institutional investors, tax credit purchasers, and capital providers. Your work will help build authority in clean energy capital markets while also supporting lead generation and sales enablement. You will collaborate with teams across the business to produce impactful materials in many formats, including in-depth thought leadership, commercial assets, and multimedia content. This is a collaborative, purpose-driven environment that rewards clear thinking, creativity, and analytical skill, and it offers the chance to help advance the clean economy through effective storytelling.
Key responsibilities
- Build and implement content strategies that establish the organization as a trusted voice in clean energy capital markets and advance business goals.
- Develop polished content in a variety of formats such as case studies, articles, newsletters, whitepapers, infographics, videos, and sales-facing collateral for institutional finance readers.
- Work closely with capital solutions and commercial teams to deepen audience insight and align messaging with the needs of investors and capital providers.
- Produce content optimized for search and answer engines to improve visibility, engagement, and conversion across digital and sales touchpoints.
- Create and keep up-to-date sales support materials that help commercial teams communicate effectively with experienced financial and investment audiences.
- Partner with design and product teams to deliver strong visual narratives across multimedia assets.
- Own content planning and editorial schedules while adjusting for changing business priorities.
- Maintain consistency, factual accuracy, and high quality across all content, following brand and messaging standards.
Requirements
- 4 to 6 years of experience in content marketing, communications, or corporate storytelling within fintech, clean energy, financial services, or capital markets settings.
- Solid grasp of institutional finance topics including tax equity, structured finance, capital markets, and project finance.
- Strong writing and storytelling ability, with the skill to make technical and financial topics accessible to varied audiences.
- Experience creating content in multiple formats, including long-form thought leadership, digital content, and sales enablement assets.
- Genuine interest in AI tools and a track record of using them in content production workflows and experimentation.
- Well-developed organization and project management skills, with the ability to juggle several priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Careful attention to detail, with strong judgment for both written and visual quality.
- Team-oriented approach with the ability to collaborate across functions while also working independently when needed.
- Interest in clean energy, sustainability, and the transition to a low-carbon economy.
Benefits and compensation
The role offers a competitive annual base salary of $120,000 to $170,000+, along with performance-based bonus potential. Additional compensation and workplace benefits include equity in a high-growth company, medical/dental/vision coverage with strong employer contributions, a 401(k) plan, 20 days of paid time off each year, 10 company holidays, and flexible parental leave (16 weeks for birthing parents and 12 weeks for non-birthing parents). The company operates with a fully remote-first setup, with optional in-person meetups and team offsites. You can also expect professional development opportunities, exposure to advanced AI and finance technologies, and other support-focused perks such as stock options and wellness-oriented initiatives.
Application and hiring process
The role is managed through a partner-led hiring process. Applications are reviewed using an AI-assisted matching system that screens candidates against the role’s core requirements and forwards a shortlist to the hiring company. Final interviews, assessments, and next steps are handled directly by the employer’s internal team.
