About the Role

Join SoudCoh in Melbourne as a full-time Content Creator and Personal Brand Videographer working directly with the company's founder, Rohit Sood. This role goes beyond typical social media work — you'll document the dynamic growth of one of Australia's fastest expanding lead generation agencies and transform everyday moments into compelling visual content that captures widespread attention.

Key Responsibilities

• Accompany Rohit throughout his workday to capture engaging video content
• Utilize devices like iPhones, DJI and professional cameras to shoot video
• Create short-form content suitable for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts
• Produce longer-form videos primarily for YouTube
• Conceptualize creative content ideas prior to filming
• Edit videos rapidly to make them captivating and lively
• Design thumbnails and basic graphic elements
• Assist with scripting videos as needed
• Keep up-to-date with current social media content trends
• Manage content organization and filming schedules
• Travel to various locations for client work, events, and launches

Candidate Profile

We seek a candidate who is more than an editor — someone who intuitively understands storytelling, audience engagement tactics like hooks and retention, camera angles, lighting, audio quality, viral content psychology, and specializes in personal branding and business-related content. You should have a documentary filming style and consistently identify and suggest filming opportunities proactively.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Certified drone operator license
• Skills in motion graphics and color grading
• Expertise in photography
• Experience in YouTube optimization and growing creator brands
• Social media management experience
• Copywriting capabilities

Equipment Experience

• Use of Sony and DJI cameras, DJI Pocket
• Handling gimbals, wireless microphones, and lighting setups
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut
