Job description
About The Role
The Sweetshop is a global production company with operations spanning multiple continents. We are seeking a highly creative and motivated individual to join our Brand & Creative team based in Auckland. This position is vital for enhancing our digital footprint across social media and communications, collaborating with various Sweetshop brands, and reporting directly to the Global Head of Brand.
Key Responsibilities
As Creative Brand Producer, you will identify compelling narratives from our available footage, campaigns, and company moments to create engaging content. Your tasks include editing videos into social-first formats, writing engaging copy, and crafting press releases to highlight our directors' commercial campaigns. You will ensure consistency in our brand's voice and presence across all platforms by adhering to brand templates and applying design judgment to enhance quality. Your work will range from video editing and press writing to designing Instagram stories and updating the website, ensuring fresh content and coordinated promotion of our talent globally.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates will have 3 to 5 years of experience in creative content roles, with a strong drive and the ability to deliver results independently. You possess a keen storytelling ability and a talent for uncovering captivating details in everyday business activities. Proficiency in writing varied content forms—social captions, newsletters, and PR releases—is essential. You are knowledgeable about Instagram and LinkedIn, understanding the nuances of B2B communication, effective organic reach, audience growth, and managing paid campaigns with natural integration.
Technical Skills
Comfort with digital design and editing tools such as Canva, Affinity, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe suite, or equivalents is required. The role is focused on refining existing footage rather than filming on-site. A proactive mindset, creativity, and a desire for continuous learning are key attributes.
Working Conditions and Benefits
This is a permanent full-time position located at our Ponsonby offices in Auckland. The company offers flexible working arrangements within a tight-knit, high-achieving team that values innovation and collective effort. Salary is market-competitive and will be determined based on experience. Please note that Auckland residency is mandatory for this role.
