Role Summary

The Consumer Events and Concerts Manager is responsible for creating and executing various winery experiences, managing the annual concert series, and ensuring an exceptional consumer experience for club members. This role also supports daily hospitality activities to promote sales growth. The position demands leadership to craft unique and memorable events reflecting the brand's values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, oversee, and implement diverse winery events across consumer, corporate, club, concert, and retail segments.
  • Manage year-round music programming including local performances, seasonal events, and the major annual concert series.
  • Serve as the primary contact for vendors, agencies, and external partners, handling contract negotiations and maintaining relationships.
  • Coordinate with Digital Marketing for print and web materials, ensuring deadlines and quality standards.
  • Handle all aspects of event logistics, operations, marketing, budget management, and post-event assessments.
  • Work collaboratively with Retail and Club Managers to set event objectives, boost revenue, and support financial reporting and invoicing.
  • Liaise with the culinary team for event programming collaboration.
  • Lead Event Specialists responsible for private revenue-driving events, virtual tastings, and other winery programs.
  • Organize large-scale events including holiday celebrations, consumer case sales, and employee gatherings.
  • Consult with Compliance regarding new event concepts as required.
  • Manage internal VIP experiences year-round at the Woodinville property, including concert guest services.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long durations.
  • Capacity to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
  • Capable of moving tables and chairs to set up or break down event spaces.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Events, or Retail Experiences preferred.
  • Possession of Class 12 MAST and Food Handler's Permits.
  • Valid Driver's License is mandatory.
  • At least 5 years in supervisory roles, including 3 years of experience in customer service and sales within retail, hospitality, or winery settings.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication, including public speaking abilities.
  • Strong customer service expertise, with experience training staff and providing performance feedback in event environments.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational abilities, problem-solving skills, and personnel management, with agility to adapt to business needs.
  • Demonstrated responsible alcohol use and fitness to meet regulatory licensing and certification standards.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is $70,289 to $91,494 annually, commensurate with experience and educational background. Employees are offered comprehensive benefits including health coverage (medical, dental, vision, and prescription) effective from the hire date for full-time staff, paid vacations and holidays, 401(k) plans with employer match and supplemental contributions, and employee discounts on wine purchases.

Work Arrangement

The role is primarily onsite at the Woodinville, WA location, with some potential for up to one remote workday weekly depending on seasonal demands and business needs. Evening and weekend availability is required during concert season from May through September.
