About the Role
Mindrift offers a project-based opportunity connecting compliance professionals with leading tech companies focused on enhancing AI systems. This is a part-time, non-permanent engagement centered on testing, evaluating, and improving compliance aspects of AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and assess rule application scenarios by analyzing compliance materials such as advertisements, disclosures, or policies against specific regulations, accurately citing the exact subsections involved.
- Write detailed sanctions alert disposition cases that include structured reasoning for false positives and propose escalation protocols.
- Develop compliance testing scenarios including selecting samples, designing tests, documenting results, and drafting clear conclusion memos for examiners.
- Identify gaps where internal policies do not address regulatory requirements, contradict existing regulations, or are outdated due to recent regulatory changes.
- Ensure all test cases are documented with precise regulatory citations, avoiding any approximations or fabrications.
Candidate Profile
- Professional experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, legal, or financial services, ideally with recent roles in compliance, financial crimes, or related fields.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in compliance, audit, legal risk management, or financial services.
- Possess a degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or similar disciplines.
- Demonstrates exceptional citation accuracy, able to identify exact regulatory subsections and clearly flag uncertain instances.
- Credentials such as CRCM, CAMS, or equivalent local certifications, or experience as a regulatory examiner or inspector are highly advantageous.
- Advanced command of written English at C1 level or above.
