Job description
About Mindrift and Role Overview
Mindrift, powered by Toloka — a pioneering enterprise AI and machine learning data partner since 2014 — specializes in merging top-tier domain expertise with innovative AI projects. Leveraging Toloka’s extensive experience in scalable data generation, crowd technology, and applied machine learning systems, Mindrift empowers experts to influence the learning and reasoning capabilities of next-generation generative models.
We are launching a specialized Management Consulting domain aimed at transforming genuine consulting projects into structured, scenario-based learning environments for advanced AI. This initiative targets assembling experienced strategy consultants from elite firms who can convert firsthand project knowledge into complete consulting case studies, encompassing problem structuring, planning, detailed analysis, synthesis, and business-ready recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Develop realistic consulting project scenarios that capture industry context, financial details, constraints, conflicting and partial information, replicating authentic consulting engagement dynamics.
- Design structured tasks for AI agents analogous to actual consulting activities, such as market sizing, commercial due diligence, cost optimization, growth strategies, operational diagnosis, and benchmarking.
- Create evaluation metrics including grading rubrics and gold-standard solutions for these tasks, supporting the training and calibration of large language model-based grading systems that assess AI-generated outputs at scale.
- Engage in an individual contributor role emphasizing analytical design and outcome evaluation, operating remotely and on a project basis.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working at a top-tier strategy consulting firm, specifically one of the following: McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Bain & Company, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Monitor Deloitte, EY-Parthenon, Kearney, or Strategy& (PwC).
- Proven expertise in structuring ambiguous business challenges into actionable analytical frameworks.
- Experience building financial models, conducting market analyses, and synthesizing complex data into coherent insights.
- Track record of delivering client-ready presentations and recommendations within tight deadlines.
- Ability to generate and defend strategic recommendations amidst uncertainty.
- Strong problem-solving skills grounded in hypothesis-driven thinking and logical consistency.
- Self-motivated, capable of independent work with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in English writing at a B2 (upper-intermediate) level or higher.
- No deep technical skills required; training on AI tools and platforms will be provided.
Compensation and Other Details
This position is compensated on an hourly basis, with contributors earning up to $60 per hour, commensurate with experience level and contribution pace. Compensation for other projects within the platform may vary based on scope and expertise required.
Eligibility
This opportunity is restricted exclusively to individuals with hands-on consulting experience at a listed top-tier strategy firm, ensuring the highest caliber of business problem-solving and client service.
