Job description
About Mindrift and Opportunity
Mindrift, supported by Toloka — a prominent AI and machine learning data enterprise since 2014 — links elite domain experts with innovative AI projects. Utilizing Toloka's expertise in scalable data generation, crowd technology, and practical ML systems, Mindrift empowers experts to influence the development of next-generation generative models' reasoning and performance capabilities.
We are launching a specialized Management Consulting domain that transforms authentic consulting projects into structured AI learning environments. We seek experienced strategy consultants from top-tier firms to convert real engagement insights into comprehensive examples reflecting every phase: problem structuring, planning, analysis, synthesis, and delivering client-ready outcomes.
Role Overview
This remote, project-based role requires individuals to play a critical part in developing realistic consulting projects for AI training. Your work involves designing detailed scenarios rooted in industry realities, financial frameworks, constraints, and ambiguous data, crafting coaching tasks like market sizing or commercial due diligence, and establishing assessment standards and evaluation models to calibrate AI grading systems at scale.
Responsibilities
- Create authentic project environments encompassing industry scenarios, financial assumptions, constraints, conflicting inputs, and partial information.
- Develop structured, discrete consulting tasks reflecting real-world activities such as cost optimization, growth strategy, operational analysis, benchmarking, and more.
- Formulate grading rubrics, evaluation criteria, and model answers to support training and large-scale AI output evaluation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of direct experience working at premier strategy consulting firms: McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Monitor Deloitte, EY-Parthenon, Kearney, or Strategy&.
- Proven competency in solving ambiguous problems by breaking them into structured, logical analytic components.
- Proficiency in synthesizing complex inputs into clear financial models, market analysis, or findings.
- Ability to prepare client deliverables effectively under tight deadlines and defend well-reasoned recommendations amidst uncertainty.
- Strong independent work ethic and self-motivation.
- Clear written communication skills in English at B2 or higher level.
Compensation
Contributors are compensated up to $60 per hour depending on expertise and engagement intensity. Payment rates vary by project complexity and required specializations.
Additional Information
No specialized technical background is necessary as training on tools will be provided. Applicants must have genuine consulting experience at the specified leading firms to maintain project quality and credibility.
