- Prepare sanctions alert disposition reports accompanied by detailed false-positive explanations and escalation frameworks.
- Design compliance testing procedures including sample selection, test planning, documentation of findings, and final examiner-ready summary memos.
- Identify gaps in policies where internal rules omit, conflict, or fail to reflect updated regulatory mandates.
- Ensure meticulous documentation of all test cases with exact regulatory citations; approximations or fabrications are not permitted.
Candidate Profile
- Educational background in Law, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or related disciplines.
- Minimum of two years’ professional experience in compliance, audit, legal, risk management, or financial services sectors.
- Recent or current involvement in compliance or regulatory affairs, financial crimes, or related positions.
- Exceptional attention to precise citation of regulatory subsections and ability to signal uncertainty when unsure rather than provide approximate references.
- Preferred qualifications include CRCM, CAMS, or equivalent local certifications; prior experience as a regulatory examiner or inspector is highly valued.
- Advanced written English proficiency (level C1 or higher).
Engagement Process and Workload
The process includes application, qualification assessment, project assignment, task completion, and subsequent payment. Workload during active project periods is generally estimated to be around 10 to 20 hours weekly, although this varies according to project needs, and workload is not guaranteed.
