About Mindrift and Project Role
Mindrift facilitates connections between specialists and tech leaders for project-focused AI roles. These opportunities involve evaluating and enhancing AI systems through non-permanent assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and assess rule application scenarios by analyzing compliance materials (e.g., advertisements, disclosures, policies) against specific regulations, citing exact subsections corresponding to compliance or violations.
- Compose sanctions alert disposition cases with thorough false-positive reasoning and escalation workflows.
- Create compliance scenario designs including sample selections, scenario structuring, findings documentation, and preparation of examiner-ready conclusion memos.
- Identify policy gaps where internal policies lag or contradict regulatory requirements or have not been updated following regulatory changes.
- Maintain rigorous documentation with precise, verified regulatory citations, avoiding any approximations.
Candidate Profile
- Professionals from compliance, legal, regulatory affairs, financial services, or related sectors welcoming part-time, non-permanent work.
- Holds a degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or related fields.
- Possesses at least two years of relevant experience in compliance, auditing, legal, risk management, or financial services domains.
- Current or recent experience with compliance, regulatory duties, financial crime, or similar roles.
- Highly disciplined in accurately citing regulatory subsections and flagging unclear areas instead of approximation.
- Possession of certifications like CRCM, CAMS, or similar credentials is favorable; background as regulatory examiner or inspector is highly regarded.
- Demonstrates strong written English skills at level C1 or higher.
Engagement Process and Workload
Applicants proceed through application, qualification, project joining, task completion, then remuneration. Expected project workload ranges between 10 to 20 hours weekly during active periods, though actual hours depend on project demands and are not guaranteed.
Compensation Details
Earnings may reach up to 60 US dollars per hour depending on contributor's expertise and productivity level. Different projects may provide variable pay rates based on complexity and specialization.
