Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Compliance Analyst to join our Wholesale Division and contribute across the organization. Reporting directly to the Wholesale Compliance Manager, this role offers an opportunity to lead innovative regulatory policies aimed at enhancing consumer protection and fostering competition. The position places you at the forefront of European regulation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee adherence to relevant regulatory requirements using data-driven analysis when appropriate.
  • Initiate and conduct investigations into suspected breaches of regulatory obligations, either independently or triggered by complaints.
  • Handle multiple investigations simultaneously by evaluating, prioritizing, and scheduling investigative tasks to ensure timely completion.
  • Collect information and evidence through correspondence, interviews, site inspections, and data seizures, maintaining thorough documentation.
  • Compile comprehensive case files to support enforcement actions related to regulatory violations.
  • Participate in shaping regulatory policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A Level 8 degree (bachelor’s or higher) in a relevant field such as law, finance, engineering, computer science, information systems, or data science, or closely related discipline.
  • Proven track record in regulatory or white-collar crime investigations and enforcement within regulated sectors like digital services, telecommunications, finance, or healthcare.
  • Demonstrated capacity to complete thorough investigations.
  • Strong writing skills enabling clear, evidence-based, and concise documentation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to tackle complex compliance issues and formulate viable solutions.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • Knowledge of the electronic communications sector and digital/cloud services, including data portability and interoperability.
  • Experience in risk assessment methodologies and conducting compliance-related audits.
  • Familiarity with compliance monitoring or risk management in regulated environments.
  • Project management expertise.
  • Experience collaborating with legal professionals, including litigators.
  • Understanding of national and EU regulatory frameworks and directives.
  • Awareness of legal and economic factors affecting regulation.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range between €64,746 and €89,416 annually, with yearly pay reviews contingent upon satisfactory performance.
