Role Overview
The Company Accountant position is a full-time on-site role located in Al Khobar. This role involves handling daily financial activities, ensuring precise and compliant accounting entries, and maintaining accurate records. Key responsibilities include preparing and verifying journal entries, managing the general ledger, reconciling bank accounts, and overseeing both payables and receivables. The accountant is integral to month-end and year-end financial close processes, budgeting, forecasting, and the creation of financial statements and reports for management. Other duties include monitoring cash flow, assisting with external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and collaborating with various internal departments to optimize financial controls and processes.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Proficient in essential accounting tasks such as ledger management, journal entries, account reconciliations, and preparing financial statements.
- Experience with financial planning and analysis including budgeting, forecasting, variance assessments, and cash flow monitoring.
- Skilled in accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel usage to handle financial data and reports effectively.
- Well-versed in applicable accounting standards, Saudi local tax laws, and regulatory requirements with a focus on compliance and internal control processes.
- Strong communication skills capable of cross-functional collaboration and explaining financial information clearly.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable, capable of managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines; professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or SOCPA are advantageous.
- Previous accounting experience in technology, engineering, or service industries within Saudi Arabia is preferred.
