Overview
Care on Call is dedicated to assisting individuals in their homes following injury, illness, or to simply improve their quality of life. We seek compassionate, capable professionals motivated to make a meaningful difference.
Role Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with daily personal care needs and household tasks, including meal preparation.
- Supporting clients in attending appointments, social events, and work commitments by driving their vehicles when needed.
- Performing manual handling tasks and administering passive exercises and stretches as required.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum Level 2 Health and Wellbeing certificate or higher is preferred.
- Proven experience as a caregiver or support worker with similar clients.
- Current, clean full New Zealand driver’s license.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong legal right to work in New Zealand.
- Attributes including reliability, punctuality, honesty, energy, initiative, and a good sense of humor.
