About the Role
Care on Call is dedicated to delivering personalized support within the community, ensuring both our clients and staff receive attentive care. We provide assistance to individuals across New Zealand in their own homes, focusing on companionship and guidance through daily routines.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care including showering, toileting, and dressing assistance.
- Supporting clients with passive exercises and stretching activities.
- Performing household tasks and meal preparation.
- Driving clients to appointments, work commitments, and community or social events using their vehicles.
Candidate Profile
We seek outstanding caregivers ready to empower clients and support their independence. Ideal candidates bring experience from community, residential, aged care, or rehabilitation settings. You should possess strong initiative, adaptability across diverse environments, a proactive 'can-do' mindset, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Additional Requirements
- Effective communication abilities.
- A current, clean full driver’s license.
- Minimum Health and Wellbeing Level 2 qualification.
- Residency within the Waipawa/Waipukurau region.
- Prior caregiving or support work experience with similar client groups.
- Legal authorization to work in New Zealand.
- Energetic disposition, reliability, punctuality, honesty, and a caring nature coupled with a good sense of humor.
