Role overview
This position involves delivering unarmed community order support in mobile, roving, and fixed post settings. The officer will carry out foot patrols, vehicle patrols, and static watch duties while acting as an initial responder, documenting incidents, and providing community order support along with unarmed safety and protection assistance.
Key duties
- Provide unarmed community officer support services.
- Carry out mobile, roaming, and fixed-position unarmed community order support duties.
- Perform patrols on foot, by vehicle, and at static posts.
- Respond first to incidents and calls for service.
- Log and record incidents accurately.
- Deliver specialized community order support and unarmed safety/protection services.
- Help maintain order and safeguard people and resources through dismounted and mounted patrol activity.
Qualifications
A high school diploma is required. The employer notes that one year of relevant experience may be accepted in place of one year of education, where a degree would otherwise be needed.
Experience
Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or military service.
Other requirements
- Applicants must be at least 21 years old.

- Strong spoken and written English skills are required, including reading and comprehension.
- Candidates must satisfy the medical and physical standards set by the contract.
- All contract-specific standards must be met.
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
- Pre-deployment screening includes a drug test, medical examination, 52 hours of training, and a psychological assessment.
- A physical fitness test must be passed.
- Strong computer, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are needed.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is expected.
- Applicants must be willing and able to work in this environment and deploy to Qatar for extended periods.
- Typical schedules are 6 days per week and 12 hours per day, with shift work that may include day or night shifts.
- Candidates must be able to lift, carry, or wear 40 pounds of PPE for long periods and be capable of running during emergencies without risking themselves or others.
- Physical, medical, and dental requirements must be maintained throughout deployment.
