Job description
About the role
This position sits within Binance’s global blockchain and digital-asset ecosystem, which serves hundreds of millions of users across more than 100 countries. The organisation is known for a strong focus on security, transparent handling of user funds, fast trading infrastructure, deep liquidity, and a broad suite of products spanning trading, finance, education, research, payments, institutional solutions, and Web3. The goal of the business is to expand financial access and support greater freedom of money through blockchain and digital assets.
What you will do
- Build, run, and scale the Binance Angels volunteer community by recruiting, onboarding, and guiding members.
- Plan and deliver community-facing activities such as online sessions, in-person meetups, webinars, workshops, and educational events to strengthen engagement and awareness.
- Oversee moderation across regional Telegram and Discord communities, and use automation tools, bots, mini-games, and campaigns to keep channels active.
- Develop partnerships with local crypto groups, student organisations, and universities to broaden the reach of Binance Academy.
- Create, adapt, translate, and review community content so it stays relevant for English-speaking audiences and local languages.
- Identify additional community platforms that can help grow the local audience and increase brand visibility.
- Represent the brand through community support, product promotion, and campaign activation.
- Use community channels to help convert awareness into active traders and then into long-term advocates.
- Gather market signals, user feedback, and community insights, then share them with Product, Growth, and Marketing teams.
What we’re looking for
- At least 2 to 4 years of experience in community management, event coordination, or a closely related area.
- Strong interest in crypto and active familiarity with Binance products such as Spot, Margin, Futures, P2P, and Earn, along with common blockchain concepts like DeFi, Web3, and NFTs.
- Hands-on experience creating content for social platforms including Twitter, Telegram, Discord, Facebook, and WhatsApp.
- Proven ability to own community or event programmes independently, with strong emotional intelligence.
- Working knowledge of Telegram moderation workflows, bots, and engagement campaigns.
- Comfort working with data, dashboards, and ROI tracking to measure impact.
- Strong communication skills and a calm, constructive approach to conflict resolution and difficult conversations.
- Flexibility to work outside standard hours, since crypto communities are active around the clock.
- Fluent English skills.
- Good understanding of social media behaviour and community dynamics across West Africa.
Why this opportunity stands out
- Work on a global blockchain ecosystem that is shaping the future of digital finance.
- Join a highly skilled, user-focused organisation with a flat structure.
- Take ownership of fast-moving, high-impact projects in an innovative environment.
- Grow in a performance-driven workplace with ongoing learning and career development opportunities.
- Receive a competitive salary and company benefits.
- Work-from-home support may be available depending on business-team needs.
