Communications Manager - Social Impact & Sustainability

Job Overview

We are looking for a seasoned communications professional to lead content strategy and storytelling efforts focused on social impact projects. This role involves crafting captivating narratives, overseeing knowledge management systems, and evaluating program success through analytics. Collaboration with global teams and multiple stakeholders is critical for effective execution of campaigns in this contract position based in San Francisco, CA.

Key Duties

• Create compelling content highlighting social impact initiatives.
• Maintain and enhance systems for organizing and managing knowledge assets.
• Use Google Analytics to assess campaign and program performance metrics.
• Facilitate coordination and cooperation across different functional teams.
• Interview stakeholders to collect relevant data for storytelling and analysis.

Required Qualifications

• Advanced writing, storytelling, and communications skills.
• Strong project management capabilities with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Experience leading and managing diverse teams on a global scale.

Preferred Experience

Background in social impact, sustainability, environmental, social and governance (ESG) domains, preferably within corporate, agency, or non-profit organizations.

Additional Information

• Contract Type: W2 employment.
• Duration: Minimum of 5 months.
• Work Location: San Francisco, California (on-site).
• Compensation: $45 to $48 per hour on W2 basis.
