SPARK Social is a vibrant community hub that unites people through food, culture, and shared experiences. Expanding to San Jose, the brand is creating a local marketing team dedicated to bringing the park's lively spirit to life online every single day.
Position Summary
The Social Media Coordinator is a full-time, on-site position based in San Francisco, with occasional responsibilities in San Jose. This role centers on capturing the dynamic day-to-day atmosphere of SPARK Social, from food trucks and vendors to guests and live music. The incumbent will actively create, edit, and publish content that reflects the relaxed and fun vibe of the park.
Key Responsibilities
- Remain present at SPARK Social SF to capture real-time visuals throughout the week.
- Create and edit short-form video and photo content tailored for social media, email marketing, websites, and other uses.
- Attend events to assist in content capturing and generation.
- Manage daily posting of social media content and food truck schedules across platforms.
- Highlight food trucks, vendors, guest experiences, and overall park ambiance.
- Contribute to promotional campaigns for both internal programs and partner collaborations.
- Engage actively with social media audiences by responding to comments and direct messages and fostering an online community.
- Help maintain a monthly content calendar and submit content for approval.
- Monitor basic performance metrics, spotting trends and growth prospects.
- Support the marketing team with ad hoc content needs as they arise.
Qualifications & Skills
- Keen visual storytelling ability with a strong eye for videography and photography.
- Experience in shooting and editing social media-specific content that captures an authentic park atmosphere.
- Comfortable and confident appearing on camera.
- Proficient with editing and design tools such as Canva, InShot, CapCut, or equivalents.
- In-depth knowledge of Instagram and TikTok trends and best practices.
- Genuine enthusiasm for food, community spaces, and supporting small businesses.
- Possession of a reliable smartphone for content creation purposes.
- Adaptable mindset with strong creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently manage responsibilities in a fast-paced onsite environment.
- Availability for shifts Wednesday through Sunday, including some nights and weekends as needed.
- Proficiency in Spanish or readiness to use communication tools to engage effectively.

- Work location is in San Francisco, with occasional duties in San Jose.
- Position is full-time and onsite.
- Hourly wage ranges from 24 to 27 dollars.
- Work schedule primarily Wednesday to Sunday with some night shifts.
