About the Role
At Plum, we believe that impactful marketing comes from authentic, relatable conversations led by creators who resonate deeply with audiences. As an Influencer Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in defining how Plum engages with the vibrant creator community. This position involves not only discovering and partnering with the right creators but also driving meaningful campaigns that reflect Plum's brand values and generate measurable business outcomes. You will collaborate closely with teams across Brand, Content, Social Media, Performance Marketing, and external creators to bring compelling stories to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with creators on platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and other emerging social channels.
- Cultivate long-term, authentic partnerships with influencers who embody Plum's ethos and appeal to its community.
- Design and implement diverse influencer campaigns including product launches, paid collaborations, barter initiatives, UGC projects, and ongoing advocacy programs.
- Oversee the complete campaign lifecycle independently—from identifying and engaging creators to negotiating terms, managing briefings, obtaining approvals, monitoring progress, and producing reports.
- Handle influencer budgets efficiently, negotiate contracts, manage invoicing, and ensure timely, on-budget delivery of campaigns.
- Collaborate with agencies and creator platforms to expand campaign reach while maintaining content quality.
- Monitor campaign effectiveness actively and provide insights into creator engagement and business impact.
- Keep abreast of evolving creator trends, platform changes, cultural events, and new opportunities to maintain Plum's leadership in the space.
- Coordinate with internal departments to align influencer activities with overall brand and corporate goals.
Candidate Profile
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in influencer marketing or managing creator partnerships.
- In-depth knowledge of the creator economy and a passion for forging genuine relationships with influencers and agencies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation talents, and adeptness in stakeholder engagement.
- Strong creative judgment coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, and various creator management platforms.
- Familiarity with AI-driven tools that can optimize creator discovery, research, or campaign operations.
- A data-driven mindset that values analyzing campaign performance to inform decisions.
- Experience within beauty, personal care, or direct-to-consumer brands is advantageous.
