Role Summary
This position is responsible for leading collections activities for an assigned cluster in Chandigarh. The role involves managing collection teams and recovery partners, improving delinquency performance, maintaining compliance, and driving operational excellence through data-backed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide a team of collection executives, while also coordinating with third-party recovery agencies to ensure target achievement.
- Track collection performance indicators such as resolution outcomes and delinquency buckets to improve customer experience and efficiency.
- Own delinquency control and recovery efforts for the assigned portfolio, including actions to reduce roll rates and bucket-level overdue exposure.
- Design and execute collection strategies suited to the nature of overdue accounts in the cluster, based on portfolio analysis and trend review.
- Ensure that all collection activities follow internal SOPs, company policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Review the delinquent portfolio daily, prepare periodic reports, and communicate challenges along with corrective actions to stakeholders.

- Clear communication skills for working with internal teams, leadership, and external agencies.

Qualifications
- A graduate degree is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in collections is needed.
- Of the total experience, 1 to 2 years should be in a team lead or supervisory capacity.
- Experience in a bank, new-age NBFC, or fintech environment is preferred.
- The candidate should be confident in leading teams, making sound decisions under pressure, and communicating proactively.
