Overview

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) seeks an experienced Clinical Trials Regulatory Coordinator to join the Research Department at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine. This full-time, onsite role requires managing the preparation, submission, and ongoing maintenance of regulatory documents in support of clinical research studies. The position ensures compliance with federal regulations, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), FDA guidelines, institutional policies, and sponsor requirements.

Role Responsibilities

The coordinator serves as the key regulatory contact linking investigators, the Institutional Review Board (IRB), study sponsors, and regulatory agencies. Duties involve overseeing regulatory documentation for clinical trials, monitoring adherence to research protocols, and supporting clinical trial activities under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Trials and Associate Dean of Research. The incumbent will align their work with applicable federal and state laws and IRB-approved protocols.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (or equivalent experience) and 2-4 years of relevant clinical regulatory research experience are required. Acceptable alternatives include an associate's degree plus two additional years of appropriate experience, or four additional years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's.

Preferred qualifications include demonstrated clinical trial regulatory experience covering study preparation, activation, monitoring, and close-out.
