Role Overview

This newly established Clinical Sales Support Specialist position is designed to aid Arthrex's expansive growth in Wellington and Wairarapa. Partnering directly with a skilled sales team, the role involves delivering clinical and technical assistance during surgical procedures, ensuring superior outcomes for patients and customers. It is open to healthcare practitioners such as Podiatrists, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Exercise Physiologists, and similar professionals interested in advancing their careers in the medical device sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the sales team in implementing the national commercial strategy and meeting regional targets.
  • Provide hands-on clinical support throughout surgical cases using Arthrex’s diverse product lines including Sports Medicine and Orthopedics.
  • Acquire thorough product expertise and conduct education and training sessions for healthcare staff.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers across the territory.
  • Support administrative tasks such as inventory oversight, stocktaking, and routine paperwork.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure excellent service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Engage actively in new product launches through clinical demonstrations and training.
  • Deliver market feedback and comply fully with organizational policies and standards.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Professional background or certification in healthcare or a related sector.
  • Clinical experience is preferred, along with familiarity with medical devices, technical terms, and patient-centered environments.
  • Demonstrates strong teamwork and a commitment to building trustworthy professional relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with surgeons, nursing teams, and colleagues.
  • Possesses high emotional intelligence to handle diverse personalities and adapt within clinical settings.
  • Effective at managing time and prioritizing tasks amidst a dynamic, fast-moving work environment.
