About the Role
The Clinical Program Specialist will focus on promoting the adoption and effective use of scalp cooling treatments within a designated portfolio of Cooler Heads Care accounts. Collaborating closely with Account Executives, this role establishes and maintains strong partnerships with physicians, infusion teams, nurse navigators, financial advisors, schedulers, and administrative personnel to integrate scalp cooling seamlessly into clinical operations. The specialist’s efforts aim to optimize patient access and develop high-performing scalp cooling programs through education, workflow improvements, and continuous engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Account Executives to design and implement strategies that drive increased scalp cooling usage.
- Develop and nurture relationships with clinical and administrative stakeholders to ensure sustained program expansion.
- Detect obstacles to patient enrollment and devise solutions to boost adoption and streamline workflows.
- Conduct periodic account reviews to evaluate usage, promote best practices, and uncover opportunities for growth.
- Train physicians, nurses, infusion staff, financial counselors, schedulers, and patient navigators on optimal scalp cooling practices.
- Enhance clinical workflows to guarantee patients eligible for scalp cooling are identified and educated consistently.
- Offer onboarding and ongoing training sessions to new and existing team members, supporting program stability.
- Act as the clinical subject matter expert for assigned accounts by delivering both virtual and onsite assistance as necessary.
- Ensure patient education and marketing materials remain prominently displayed, current, and integrated throughout the patient experience.
- Work with clinic staff to increase awareness of the Amma program with educational materials, engagement tools, and internal communications.
- Coordinate with Marketing and Clinical teams to launch new educational initiatives and continually enhance the patient and account experience.
- Relay field insights and account feedback to improve clinical resources, workflows, and future program strategies.
- Provide virtual and onsite support including training, equipment setup, evaluations, and troubleshooting.
- Step in to assist in clinical operations when required to maintain care continuity and program success.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in healthcare, life sciences, business, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 2 years of prior experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare, clinical support, customer success, or B2B account management roles preferred.
- Proven skills in relationship building and influencing diverse stakeholders.
- Effective communication, presentation, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong analytical ability to assess account performance and formulate plans to boost utilization.
- Self-driven with excellent time management, able to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
- Willingness to travel between 40% and 60% of the time.
- Capacity to conduct both virtual and in-person education and account management support.
- Capability to lift items weighing up to 30 pounds as needed.
