Responsibilities

• Support individual pupils or groups both inside and outside classrooms to engage in daily activities, attending to their social, emotional, and physical needs.
• Act proactively regarding health and safety concerns.
• Assist in applying and monitoring individual education plans for pupils with diverse needs.
• Support students facing additional challenges such as emotional or behavioral difficulties, helping them develop social skills.
• Help maintain pupil records alongside class teachers.
• Prepare and exhibit students’ work within the school.
• Aid teachers with photocopying and other classroom tasks that facilitate instruction.
• Contribute to the school’s goals, ensuring compliance with safety, legislation, and policy guidelines.
• Provide academic support by offering group or individualized instruction as directed by teachers.
• Monitor and review pupils' assignments, encouraging on-task behavior and recognizing accomplishments.
• Organize learning materials daily and monitor student attendance.
• Supervise pupils in classrooms and other areas, supporting behavior policies and enhancing pupil self-esteem.
• Enforce discipline aligned with school-wide behavioral policies.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum educational attainment of a secondary school certificate.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a school environment.
• UAE National status is required. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Proficiency in English aligned with the curriculum's standards.

• Experience working with students for whom English is a second language.
• A strong passion for teaching and dedication to holistic child development.
