Child Care Bus Driver

Work Schedule

• Full-time hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Part-time option: 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all local and state transportation safety regulations.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of the school bus, and promptly report any maintenance needs or concerns to management.
• Adhere to scheduled routes for picking up and dropping off elementary-age children at local schools, as well as field trips during summer programs.
• Maintain compliance with Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) rules and regulations at all times.
• Assist the Center Director with tasks within the classroom or additional duties as needed.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum age of 21, with a high school diploma or GED.
• Maintain a clean and valid DMV record and provide annual updates to the Center Director.
• Experience working with children in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred.
• Ability to thoroughly read and enforce the center’s Policy and Procedure Manual.
• At least six months of experience in a licensed child care facility.
• Early childhood coursework, CDA, or a related degree is a plus.
• Willingness to take on a flexible schedule and responsibilities as needed.
