Role Overview
Located in Golden, CO, this full-time, onsite role of Chief People Officer / Head of Human Resources is charged with steering the comprehensive people strategy at JarrarLabs. Responsibilities encompass talent acquisition, onboarding, performance oversight, leadership development, and cultivating a culture aligned with organizational growth. The individual manages HR policies, succession planning, employee relations, and engagement initiatives supporting an inclusive and high-achieving workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain HR policies ensuring alignment with company objectives and legal compliance.
- Lead succession planning and build leadership pipelines supporting organizational resilience.
- Address employee relations by managing conflicts and fostering respectful collaboration.
- Partner with executive leadership to establish scalable HR processes and risk management.
- Coach managers to optimize people-related decisions and leadership effectiveness.
- Analyze HR data to identify trends, set metrics, and implement retention and growth programs.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in performance management and designing employee engagement initiatives.
- Experienced in succession planning and formulating comprehensive HR policies.
- Strong background in managing complex employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Strategic HR leadership experience in technology, engineering, or research-driven environments.
- Knowledgeable of US employment law and HR regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated capability to lead HR teams and influence senior stakeholders positively.
- Exceptional communication, coaching abilities, and a commitment to inclusion and equity.
- Degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Psychology, or a related discipline; advanced degrees or certifications such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR are advantageous.
