Role Overview

The Chief People Officer (CPO) will join the Executive Leadership Team to develop and execute an enterprise-wide people strategy. This leadership position demands strategic insight, operational expertise, and relationship-building skills to foster a proactive and data-driven human resources function. The CPO works closely with the CEO, executive leaders, clinical teams, and the Board to attract, develop, and retain top talent within a multi-site healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead comprehensive human capital initiatives including workforce planning, talent management, leadership growth, succession planning, and employee relations.
  • Drive compliance, HR technologies, workforce analytics, organizational development, and cultural advancement.
  • Establish infrastructure and processes that align with enterprise goals to support sustainable growth.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with demonstrated success in complex multi-location organizations. They possess strong business acumen, expertise in change management, cultural sensitivity, and a data-savvy approach. Familiarity with Hawaiʻi’s communities and values is highly valued.

Compensation

The targeted annual salary range is $220,000 to $250,000.
