You will operate as the sole People Team representative locally, having high responsibility and close partnership with global HR leaders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing support through all stages of the employee lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and talent growth.
  • Developing strong connections with local leadership up to Desk Head and executives, managing escalations in collaboration with the North American People Lead.
  • Administering payroll accurately with external partners and contributing to global payroll processes.
  • Managing employee benefits enrollment, life event coordination, vendor interactions, and daily employee inquiries.
  • Maintaining precise employee data and operating HR systems like HiBob HRIS and Greenhouse ATS to derive insights and improve processes.
  • Handling US immigration-related employment matters alongside external legal counsel.
  • Collaborating globally on HR initiatives including systems, compensation, learning, and regional operational support.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will be approachable HR professionals who excel in building relationships and guiding others, with proven growth and responsibility in HR roles. They should demonstrate good judgment, confidentiality, and ownership in both routine and strategic tasks. This role suits someone highly organized, adaptable, and detail-focused, comfortable managing priorities in a fast environment while leveraging technology and data to improve workflows. Proactivity, resilience, eagerness to learn, and a balanced approach to empathy and pragmatism are essential.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 3 to 5 years in a comprehensive HR Generalist role with evidence of advancing responsibilities.
  • Experience across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance, payroll, benefits, and exit management.
  • Familiarity with US labor laws and immigration processes.
  • Practical payroll processing experience, preferably ADP, and benefit management including audits.
  • Strong analytical and Excel capabilities, using data to support decisions and stakeholder influence.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and ATS tools, especially HiBob and Greenhouse.
  • Utilizing AI technologies to boost productivity and streamline operations.
  • Proven success in building collaborative relationships within global HR environments.

Additional Desired Experience

  • Experience with Professional Employer Organizations like ADP TotalSource.
  • Background in global, multifunctional HR teams.
  • Work in lean, growth-oriented, entrepreneurial or mid-sized companies with broad HR roles.
  • Familiarity with the financial services, commodities, or tech sectors.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive salary with discretionary bonus eligibility.
  • 20 paid vacation days plus 10 public holidays annually.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life insurance, Health Savings Account, 401(k) matching, and partial subsidies for supplemental benefits.
  • Access to external and internal training per Training & Development Policy.
