Chief of Staff to the CEO

About the Role

Integral Creative Solutions (ICS), an executive search and staffing agency, is conducting a confidential search for a pivotal leadership role within a well-resourced organization. The Chief of Staff to the CEO will function as an essential multiplier for the CEO, managing priorities, overseeing leadership cadence, and leading cross-departmental projects without clear ownership. This role requires a highly trusted, visible, and low-ego operator with excellent judgment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted representative of the CEO, accelerating priority-driven actions and ensuring decisions are made efficiently.
• Manage the leadership team's operating rhythm including preparing agendas, tracking OKRs, conducting business reviews, and organizing board meeting materials.
• Head critical cross-functional initiatives that lack dedicated ownership.
• Develop executive-level communications, board presentations, and organizational messaging for the CEO.
• Facilitate alignment across the C-suite to ensure that decisions are recorded, agreed upon, and executed effectively.
• Aggregate information from multiple business areas to proactively identify risks and opportunities.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

• Minimum of eight years' experience in strategic, operational, or advisory roles; former chiefs of staff, consultants, or corporate strategists preferred.
• Exceptional discretion and sound judgment in handling confidential, high-impact matters.
• Demonstrated capability to drive cross-functional projects to completion amidst uncertainty.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with comfort in executive-level ghostwriting.
• Strong organizational and systemic thinking skills to bring clarity to complex situations.
• High emotional intelligence with the ability to influence teams without direct authority.
• Possession of at least a bachelor's degree; MBA or other advanced degrees are advantageous.

Preferred Additional Experience

• Background in top-tier consulting, investment banking, or private equity.
• Experience supporting CEOs during periods of rapid growth or transformation.
• Familiarity with board operations and corporate governance.
• Strong analytical skills with financial and data fluency.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers a competitive base salary range between $175,000 and $275,000, calibrated based on experience, skills, and interview outcomes.
