Job description

About Replit

Replit is an innovative software creation platform harnessing natural language to empower millions worldwide to develop applications. By eliminating traditional obstacles, Replit is democratizing software development.

Position Overview

This unique opportunity involves working directly with Replit's CEO and executive team during a pivotal period of growth and transformation in software development. You will act as an extension of the CEO, managing complex cross-departmental challenges, leading critical decisions, and ensuring leadership functions with efficiency and clarity.

Role Expectations

  • Serve as a trusted counselor to the CEO and executive leadership—providing insights, preparing them for major decisions, and stepping in when needed.
  • Anticipate and resolve issues proactively before escalating to the CEO, identifying blind spots and closing gaps.
  • Manage the CEO's network to speed up market entry, including leveraging expertise in international regions such as MENA.
  • Take direct responsibility for decisions spanning Product, Engineering, Finance, and Go-To-Market teams, detecting risks or disagreements early and aligning teams despite structural complexities.
  • Create integrated perspectives on product economics, market trends, and business performance that transcend individual departments.
  • Utilize AI, automation, and intelligent workflows to magnify your effectiveness—conducting analysis, synthesizing data, modeling scenarios, aggregating status updates, and monitoring operations.
  • Lead the CEO’s key cross-functional projects—from evaluating competitive positioning and pricing strategies to strategic planning and product economics—through all phases.

Role Clarifications

This role does not cover growth experiments, quarterly or financial reporting, or dashboard management, which are handled by other specialized teams. It is a high-impact individual contributor position that scales through AI and automation, without growing a team.

Candidate Profile

  • At least 7 years in strategy, operations, or analytically driven roles at high-growth technology companies, with collaborative experience alongside Product and Engineering teams.
  • Proven ability to create structure in ambiguity and drive decisions without direct authority.
  • Respected across technical, financial, and commercial domains, trusted for sound technical judgment and business insight.
  • Strong quantitative skills, including economic modeling, data analysis, and discerning meaningful signals from noise.
  • Effective and straightforward communicator who can deliver executive-ready recommendations without excessive caveats.
  • Thrives working independently in uncertain environments as a high-impact individual contributor rather than managing others.
  • Experience with technology ecosystems or business networks in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), or demonstrated success supporting international market expansions and partnerships.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on use of AI tools, automation, or agent workflows that enhance analytical and operational speed.
  • Background in developer tools, infrastructure, or AI/ML-focused product environments.
  • History of influencing executive decisions in organizations with revenues exceeding $50M ARR.
  • Preference for clarity and momentum over unnecessary procedural complexity.

Success Indicators

  • Faster and more effective cross-functional decision-making with clear, attributable outcomes.
  • Recognition as a key contributor sought out by stakeholders to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Leadership maintains integrated insights into business health and actively responds.

Work Location and Schedule

This is a full-time position based in Foster City, CA, with a requirement to be onsite on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Employee Benefits

  • Competitive salary and equity packages.
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan with a 4% company match (US only).
  • Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage.
  • Short-term and long-term disability benefits.
  • Paid parental, medical, and caregiver leave.
  • Flexible paid time off and recognized holidays.
  • Commuter benefits for onsite employees.
  • Monthly wellness stipend.
  • Supportive autonomous work environment.
  • Reimbursement for in-office setup costs.
  • Quarterly team events and onsite amenities.

Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion

Replit is dedicated to making programming accessible worldwide through a team reflective of global diversity. Applicants of varied backgrounds, particularly those from underrepresented or non-traditional groups, are encouraged to apply and contribute unique perspectives to Replit's mission.
