To expand the laboratory team at Eurofins Agroscience Services Chem GmbH in Hamburg, which focuses on pesticide residue testing under GLP quality standards, the company is seeking a Chemical Laboratory Technician / Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA) (m/f/d) to start immediately.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out chemical testing independently, using a range of sample preparation methods such as extraction, concentration, solid-phase extraction (SPE), and QuEChERS.
  • Perform laboratory studies with modern instrumental analytical systems.
  • Help develop, refine, and improve analytical methods.
  • Take ownership of routine maintenance and functional checks for laboratory equipment.
  • Assist with ordering chemicals and managing chemical disposal.
  • Record all work in line with GLP requirements to maintain traceability and quality assurance.
  • Work consistently according to established standard operating procedures in daily lab operations.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician, CTA, Biological Laboratory Technician, BTA, Chemical Technician, or a similar qualification.
  • Ability to communicate well in German and/or English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Good IT ability, including confident use of MS Excel and other digital tools.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn, a strong sense of responsibility, and high attention to accuracy and quality.
  • Readiness to learn additional tasks during onboarding.
