Key Responsibilities
- Serve as primary contact for clients regarding sample submissions, job progress, inquiries, and quotations.
- Maintain accurate records of received samples and coordinate their distribution and reporting of results.
- Manage testing activities within the assigned laboratory areas following international standards.
- Conduct chemical analyses of materials utilizing various analytical instruments to verify compliance.
- Oversee safety protocols and quality control procedures, preparing necessary documentation.
- Procure necessary materials, instruments, and testing equipment relevant to assigned tasks.
- Keep thorough and organized job files and status reports.
- Draft and prepare test reports as assigned.
- Ensure laboratory equipment is regularly calibrated as per schedule and maintain calibration documentation.
- Perform method validation and verification procedures as required.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organized setup of samples and equipment.
- Authorize release of final test results and approve test reports when delegated by the Technical Manager.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a degree in Chemistry or a related field; applications from fresh graduates are welcome.
- Exhibit strong communication skills and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to multitask under tight deadlines and manage stress effectively.
