Role Description
The company is looking to hire a seasoned Business Development Manager focused on expanding sales and market share specifically within the Dairy, Meat, and Food segments. This position emphasizes developing new client relationships, managing key accounts, and leading commercial strategies designed to create durable business growth.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Devise and execute sales and marketing strategies to meet revenue and profit goals.
- Participate in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans.
- Explore and capitalize on opportunities to grow market presence.
- Acquire new clients and nurture existing customer relationships.
- Maintain strong connections with key clients and industry leaders.
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market advancements.
- Deliver exceptional customer service ensuring consistent client engagement.
Candidate Qualifications and Experience
- Proven track record in business development and driving sales growth.
- Experience managing key accounts, technical sales, or customer relations within a B2B setting.
- Background in the food industry and/or laboratory services is desirable.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Preferably holds technical or science-related qualifications.
- Demonstrates a proactive, resilient, and goal-focused approach.
