Job description
About the Company
Beast Industries is a broad media and entertainment business started by Jimmy Donaldson, known worldwide as MrBeast, one of the most viewed creators on the planet. The company goes well beyond its YouTube roots and works across digital media, philanthropy, consumer products, and new business ventures. Its purpose is to entertain, motivate, and create meaningful social impact through inventive storytelling and bold ideas.
About the Role
This position serves as the operational center of one of the company’s lifestyle and unscripted channels. You will own execution across the production process, ensuring every shoot is organized, budgeted, and delivered smoothly. The role blends channel operations with hands-on production, acting as the link between creative direction and practical execution.
It is a highly accountable, fast-moving role in a lean team. You will work closely with the Creative Producer to bring each video to life, partner with the General Manager on financial and operational performance, and help build the systems that allow the channel to grow without sacrificing speed or quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Take charge of end-to-end production planning, including calendars, budgets, locations, crew, logistics, and vendor coordination for every shoot.
- Develop and oversee the channel’s production budget with the General Manager, monitoring expenses live and identifying potential overruns early.
- Lead production on set by keeping the day on track and making sure the Creative Producer has the support needed to deliver.
- Find, assess, and coordinate production contractors for each shoot, ensuring clear direction and strong accountability.
- Manage talent logistics such as travel, lodging, call times, and on-set support for on-camera talent.
- Work with the General Manager on financial results, operational updates, and planning for production capacity.
- Spot bottlenecks well before they affect production and resolve issues proactively.
- Create and document production processes that help the channel scale efficiently while maintaining quality.
- Shield the creative team from operational distractions so they can stay focused on content.
Requirements
- 4–7+ years of experience in production management, line production, or channel operations for YouTube or digital video.
- Demonstrated success managing schedules and production budgets from pre-production through final delivery.
- Hands-on experience with on-location shoots and small, agile crews in fast-paced environments.
- Strong organizational discipline with the ability to manage many moving parts accurately.
- Composure and sound judgment under pressure, especially when resolving shoot-day issues.
- Clear, proactive communication style with no surprises for stakeholders.
- Exposure to YouTube channel operations beyond filming, such as asset handling, upload workflows, and delivery is preferred.
- Experience creating production systems from the ground up for a new or early-stage channel is preferred.
- Existing production crew or vendor relationships in the Southeast US are preferred.
- Prior work in lifestyle, culinary, or unscripted production is preferred.
- Ability to work onsite in Greenville, North Carolina, with relocation support available.
Benefits and Perks
- Competitive pay.
- Medical coverage through Blue Cross Blue Shield, along with dental and vision insurance and company-paid life insurance.
- Company contributions toward Health Savings Accounts.
- 401(k) plan with Safe Harbor company match.
- Flexible vacation policy and paid company holidays.
- Company-issued technology package.
- Relocation support where applicable, including travel and company-provided housing for the first 90 days.
