Sodexo is hiring a dependable and energetic Catering Assistant for its Wodonga team. This is a practical, hands-on position focused on supporting daily kitchen and catering work, delivering high-standard food service, and maintaining strong hygiene, safety, and customer care practices.

Core duties
- Help prepare food, put meals together, and assist with serving.
- Keep kitchen, service, and food handling areas clean and aligned with food safety requirements.
- Wash, sanitise, and neatly arrange utensils, tools, and kitchen equipment.
- Accept deliveries, store stock correctly, rotate supplies, and assist with stock tracking.
- Support catering functions and work closely with the kitchen team to keep service running efficiently.
About you
The ideal candidate has experience in hospitality, catering, food service, or a commercial kitchen, and enjoys working with others to provide good customer service. You should understand food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety expectations, and be organised, dependable, and comfortable in a busy, fast-moving environment. Flexibility with shifts and a willingness to learn are also important.
