About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) Manager to join our team permanently, providing expert leadership and guidance across multiple sites. Based in Perth with regular travel to remote locations, this position requires a proactive individual passionate about fostering a positive safety culture and ensuring continual improvement in compliance and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion safety culture initiatives and deliver behavioural safety programs while mentoring site teams.
- Maintain and enforce HSEQ systems compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS), ISO standards, client protocols, and company policies.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, audits, and lead critical control reviews within high-risk operational areas.
- Manage incident reporting processes, lead thorough investigations, and implement continuous enhancement strategies.
- Serve as the primary HSEQ liaison among clients, site leadership, and service partners to ensure aligned safety goals.
- Take charge of HSEQ requirements for new site mobilisations and contribute to business expansion efforts.
- Develop and deliver HSEQ training programs to ensure workforce competency and adherence to safety protocols.
- Track and analyze HSEQ performance data, providing detailed insights and reports to management.
- Support emergency preparedness and injury management programs across sites.
Qualifications and Experience
- Extensive experience in senior HSE or HSEQ roles, preferably within remote or resource-based environments.
- In-depth knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and applicable ISO standards.
- Skilled in conducting audits, managing risks, and investigating incidents.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including reporting and presentation abilities.
- Highly organized with capacity to manage multiple competing priorities efficiently.
- Willingness and flexibility to regularly travel and work at various remote sites.
