Overview
We seek customer-centric individuals with hospitality experience or transferable skills who exhibit a proactive and positive attitude. Prior FIFO experience is not mandatory, making this an excellent entry point into a rewarding sector.
Work Schedule & Location
- Full-time employment involves a fixed roster of two weeks on-site followed by one week off, with flights departing from Perth Airport.
- Casual positions demand adaptability to varying shifts and rosters, providing opportunities to work across multiple sites and gain diverse service attendant experience.
Role Summary
Service Attendants provide vital hospitality support enhancing the living and working conditions of residents in remote villages away from home.
- Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties in accommodation units (commonly known as “dongas”).
- Assist in kitchen and dining areas, including food preparation and handling.
- Clean mine site offices, break rooms (crib rooms), and ablution facilities.
- Deliver customer service in tavern or retail outlet settings.
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor and communal spaces.
Requirements for FIFO Employment
- Candidates must currently reside within Western Australia.
- A recent National Police Check (within the last six months) is mandatory if not already obtained.
- Capability to work 12-hour shifts, covering both day and night rotations.
- Ability to tolerate remote environments with extreme weather conditions.
- Capacity to multitask and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Understanding and adherence to safety protocols and safe work requirements.
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment including drug and alcohol testing.
- Possession of unrestricted Australian work rights.
- Having a Western Australian driver's license is highly advantageous.
