Role Overview

The Caregiver position at Summerset Boulcott village involves working collaboratively within a team to ensure a safe, healthy, and enjoyable environment for residents. The primary focus is on delivering personal care and support to residents in their daily routines during night shifts.

Key Duties

• Serving meals and assisting residents during mealtimes
• Providing hygiene support, including showering assistance
• Supporting residents with individual care plans through activities like walking and exercise
• Engaging residents in recreational activities such as puzzles and table tennis

Working Hours

The role requires working a rotational roster of night shifts on a 4 days on, 2 days off pattern, from 11pm to 7am.

Qualifications and Attributes

Candidates should have prior experience in aged care or related fields and possess strong verbal communication skills to build meaningful relationships. Empathy, kindness, and patience are essential qualities, as is a commitment to working on a rotational schedule that includes morning, afternoon, and night shifts.
