Role Overview

This permanent full-time role, based at the Boulia Accommodation Service in Tralee, Co Kerry, involves offering personal care to individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health challenges within a high-support residential environment. The position emphasizes respect, positive behavioral support, community integration, personal growth, and social inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

• Encourage and participate actively in team collaboration, fostering a supportive and caring atmosphere.
• Deliver person-centered services tailored to the unique needs and preferences of service users.
• Maintain all interactions with dignity, respect, equality, and ensure choices are provided to service users.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum QQI Level 5 qualification in Social Care, or an equivalent credential.
• Capacity to work effectively as part of a team providing individualized support.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy of all service users at all times.
• Possession of a full clean driver’s license.

Compensation and Benefits

Starting salary ranges from 31,561.64 to 43,730.75 per annum pro rata, negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
