Company Overview
VIBE Cannabis is hiring Fresh Frozen Harvest Team Members for its St. Louis, Missouri facility. The site serves a newly launched medical market that began in October 2020. The company currently operates cultivation and manufacturing licenses in Missouri and has plans for continued growth both locally and across the country.
Founded in January 2022, VIBE offers the chance to join at an early stage and help shape a business in a fast-growing industry.
Role Summary
This position supports the Harvest Team across multiple areas of the garden to help deliver high-quality products for patients. The work requires a clean, well-groomed appearance, a positive attitude, and the ability to remain on your feet for extended periods in different working environments.
Key Duties
- Support harvest operations so production targets are met and quality standards are upheld.
- Carry out tasks such as fertigation, plant care, cleaning of grow and shared spaces, trimming, and packaging of plant material.
- Harvest, buck, pack, and freeze freshly cut plants.
- Work closely with supervisors and managers, and step into other areas when daily assigned work is complete.
- Keep yourself clean and maintain required PPE throughout cultivation activities.
- Follow strong agricultural practices at all times.
- Maintain accurate records, inventories, and data when needed.
Qualifications and Working Conditions
The role calls for a high school diploma and the ability to work in loud environments, handle 50 pounds, and perform in both dark and bright conditions. Candidates must also be comfortable working in low-oxygen spaces and around caustic or potentially hazardous chemicals. A solid understanding of compliance requirements and SOPs for specialized areas is expected. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, willing to complete a thorough background check, and have a valid driver’s license along with dependable transportation. Basic computer literacy in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is also required.
Preferred Background
While not mandatory, candidates may stand out with an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field, familiarity with cannabis, or prior experience working with plants or commodity crops.
