Role Overview
We are seeking a Cambridge School Coordinator to join an international school located in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh. The candidate will be responsible for leading and maintaining excellence across the Cambridge curriculum from Pre Primary through Senior Grades (A Levels). This role aims to foster a dynamic and stimulating learning environment that promotes knowledge, skills, and overall development to prepare students for future success. The coordinator will also support colleagues by setting high standards and promoting continuous professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee Division Heads and Subject HODs to ensure quality teaching, effective learning, and high levels of student achievement.
- Facilitate staff growth by providing coaching, managing performance, and offering professional development opportunities.
- Ensure student safeguarding, promote wellbeing, and maintain a safe and inclusive educational environment.
- Manage daily school operations including timetabling, resource allocation, and adherence to regulatory and examination requirements.
- Develop strong relationships with parents and the local community to enhance trust and improve the school's reputation.
Eligibility and Additional Information
- Minimum 8 to 10 years teaching experience with Grades 9 to 12 (IGCSE).
- At least 4 to 5 years experience as an Academic Coordinator.
- Proven experience with the Cambridge curriculum spanning multiple educational levels is essential; candidates with experience limited to Primary or Middle School are not eligible.
- The position is part of the administrative team; hence leave and holiday policies will align with administrative standards.
- Candidates must be willing to relocate independently; shared accommodation will be provided for the selected applicant.
