Job description

Overview

Join a cabin crew information day hosted by Ryanair Group in Augsburg on 8 July 2026. The event is intended to give prospective candidates a realistic look at the cabin crew role and connect with people who are enthusiastic about starting a career in aviation. No prior cabin crew experience is needed.

The role is aimed at people who enjoy customer service, work well in a team, and are eager to take advantage of fast career progression within a large airline group. Ryanair Group operates a cabin crew network of more than 16,000 crew members, serves over 600,000 guests daily, and flies more than 3,600 flights each day across 90+ operational bases.

Event Details

This information day will take place in Augsburg. The venue will be shared later. Walk-ins are accepted, but attendees should make sure they meet the eligibility conditions and have the unrestricted right to live, work, and travel within the EU.

Event time: 10:30 sharp to 14:00.

Training and Role Journey

Selected candidates begin with a 6-week training programme covering the core skills needed to deliver safe, high-quality onboard service. Training includes regular exams, followed by supernumerary flights and the award of Cabin Crew Wings.

The position offers the chance to build a long-term aviation career, with possible progression into roles such as Number 1, Base Supervisor, Regional Manager, or even Director of Inflight.

Working Pattern

The work is demanding as safety is the top priority. Crew members must be prepared for both early and late shifts. Early roster duties can begin as early as 5:00 am, while late roster duties may finish at midnight. Applicants who are not comfortable with early mornings should consider this carefully.

Perks and Benefits

Ryanair Group offers a range of benefits, including discounted travel across the network, a fixed 5 days on / 3 days off roster, free training, strong earning potential through sales bonuses, and the security of working for a financially stable airline. Additional benefits include travel opportunities, colleague experiences across different cities and cultures, and uniform support.

Requirements

Applicants should be fit for a customer-facing cabin crew role and willing to work flexibly on a shift roster. The airline requires unrestricted EU live/work/travel rights, the ability to meet height guidelines, and the ability to swim 25 metres without assistance. Strong English communication skills, a friendly and adaptable attitude, and a genuine interest in travel and meeting new people are also important.

Additional Information

Depending on the base, the contract may be direct or through an agency.

This opportunity is designed for people ready to join during the autumn/winter months.

Free uniform is provided in year 1, with an annual allowance available after that.

During training, a daily per diem is provided.

Sales performance can earn an uncapped bonus.

Registration is encouraged so interested candidates do not miss the event.

Please note that the event venue will be confirmed later.
