Position Overview

The HR Business Partner II plays a pivotal strategic role by aligning human resources initiatives with the objectives of individual business units and the broader organizational vision. Reporting to the Technology HR Director, this full-time position is located across our Downtown Miami, Port of Miami, and Miramar offices. Note that this role does not provide work authorization sponsorship.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with leadership to formulate and execute organizational strategies that boost team performance and effectiveness.
  • Forge strong partnerships with senior business leaders to provide expert guidance on organizational structure and workforce management.
  • Identify unique talent demands per department and work with Talent Acquisition to attract, retain, and nurture future leaders.
  • Analyze employee relations concerns, propose appropriate remedies, and guide implementation.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of critical business challenges for supported units to ensure HR strategies drive the desired outcomes.
  • Coordinate with Internal Audit, Global Security, and IT regarding workplace investigations involving ethics, discrimination, or harassment issues.
  • Partner with HR centers of expertise in areas such as compensation, total rewards, recruitment, and learning to adopt and monitor best practices.
  • Utilize advanced HR information systems for data analysis and reporting tailored to business needs, recommending data-driven solutions.
  • Support Talent Management by facilitating employee development courses across the organization.
  • Review and propose updates to HR policies and procedures for organizational implementation.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Possess 4 to 7 years of advancing experience in HR Generalist or Business Partner roles.
  • Hold a bachelor's degree specializing in Human Resources, Business Management, Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrable experience managing human resources within dynamic and complex global environments.
  • Proven ability to work strategically with partners at all organizational levels.
  • Skilled at evaluating complex scenarios to devise solutions aligned with corporate goals and legal standards.
  • Creative approach to solving HR challenges related to employee retention and talent growth.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to cultivate relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Expertise in conflict management, negotiation, and advocating for mutually beneficial resolutions.
  • Capable of prioritizing and managing multiple demands effectively under pressure.
  • Experienced in leading change management initiatives to help staff adapt to new policies and organizational shifts.
  • Proficient in HR data analysis to guide decisions on performance, compensation, engagement, and turnover.
  • Strategic mindset to grasp the broader impact of HR decisions on company success.
  • Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently and locate resources needed for progress.
