Role overview
In this role, you will work as a finance partner to leaders across several markets, helping them manage costs, control headcount, and plan finances effectively. You will collaborate closely with the Business Finance Senior Manager to deliver analysis, reporting, and decision support that promotes disciplined investment choices and keeps planning aligned with budget goals.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to planning, budgeting, and forecasting for Superfunctions across multiple markets.
- Review operating expenses to spot risks, opportunities, and the factors behind budget-to-forecast differences.
- Monitor headcount performance, including hiring plans, open positions, employee movement, and personnel cost forecasts.
- Work with internal stakeholders to make sure spending stays within approved budgets and supports business priorities.
- Build monthly management reports, variance analyses, and insights on overhead and workforce-related spend.
- Create and update dashboards, trackers, and reporting tools to follow cost performance and resource usage.
- Support business cases and investment assessments for new roles, organizational changes, and strategic programs.
- Maintain high data accuracy across financial models, headcount reports, and planning systems.
- Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency while still enabling growth.
- Partner with People & Culture and Finance teams to enhance workforce planning and reporting workflows.
What you need to bring
- Strong capability in financial analysis and modelling, with an interest in business partnering.
- Good knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and variance review.
- Ability to turn financial information into practical insights for non-finance audiences.
- Strong attention to detail and comfort handling large datasets across multiple markets and functions.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for reporting and analysis.
- Clear communication skills and confidence working with cross-functional teams.
- A problem-solving mindset with the ability to question assumptions and propose improvements.
Good-to-have experience
- Exposure to corporate functions such as Technology, Product, Marketing, People, Operations, or G&A.
- Background in headcount planning, personnel cost forecasting, and overhead management.
- Familiarity with planning platforms such as TM1, IBM Planning Analytics, Anaplan, Adaptive Planning, or similar tools.
- Experience with BI and reporting solutions such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
