Job description
About the Company
Techo-Bloc operates as a North American maker and distributor of hardscape products, supported by 9 production sites and 15 distribution hubs. The organization is built around quality, innovation, and operational discipline, and it has grown to more than 900 employees. Its culture emphasizes accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement in a fast-moving, structured setting where ownership and problem-solving matter.
Role Overview
The Brand Storytelling & Content Manager will help shape the next phase of the company’s brand expression. This position is ideal for someone with an editorial mindset who naturally spots stories, understands culture and design, and can turn ideas into connected content systems across multiple channels.
You will define storytelling direction for launches, campaigns, trends, events, catalogs, video, social media, web content, and experiential work. The role requires close collaboration with creative, social, video, merchandising, product marketing, and leadership teams so that every touchpoint feels deliberate, consistent, and relevant to the audience and culture.
Performance in this role is centered on story quality and brand impact rather than content volume. The goal is to create narratives that elevate brand perception, strengthen audience connection, and build cultural relevance across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Brand storytelling strategy will be a core part of the role, including shaping narrative angles around products, trends, launches, designers, contractors, homeowners, and outdoor living culture. You will also develop seasonal and annual story frameworks that connect across channels and help position the brand as a design-led lifestyle name in the outdoor living space.
You will translate business goals into stories that resonate with people and support brand growth.
In editorial and content direction, you will guide the planning and coordination of content ecosystems across social media, video, campaigns, the website, catalogs, events, product launches, email marketing, sales tools, and experiential initiatives. You will help determine the narrative, messaging, creative direction, and content structure behind key brand moments.
For media and production leadership, you will lead and support the media team to deliver work with consistency, quality, and creative ambition. This includes coordinating production across internal teams and external partners, working with photographers, filmmakers, creators, editors, agencies, stylists, and creative collaborators, and selecting the right production approach for each story. You will also help improve workflows, identify capability gaps, and support future hiring needs while maintaining strong brand standards.
In trend and cultural insight, you will stay connected to developments in design, architecture, fashion, luxury branding, hospitality, lifestyle media, digital storytelling, and new content formats. You will bring fresh ideas, collaborations, partnerships, and storytelling opportunities that increase the brand’s cultural relevance.
Cross-functional collaboration is also essential. You will help align storytelling across all brand touchpoints so the content feels unified and unmistakably tied to Techo-Bloc, while partnering closely with Creative, Events, Sales, Merchandising, and Web teams.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in editorial storytelling, content strategy, brand publishing, creative campaigns, media, or content production. A refined sense of taste and a strong eye for visual storytelling are important, along with the ability to spot stories, shape narratives, and move concepts through execution.
You should have experience leading creative productions and multi-platform content programs, as well as working with internal teams, freelancers, agencies, creators, or other production partners. A solid understanding of social content, modern media habits, and brand building is expected.
The role also calls for a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, plus experience in luxury, design, architecture, lifestyle, fashion, hospitality, or other culture-driven brands. Strong communication skills are needed to align creative, marketing, and business stakeholders around a shared story.
Why Join
This is an opportunity to contribute to more than campaigns; it is a chance to help build a brand people want to be part of. You will influence how a category-leading company is seen in culture, design, media, and the outdoor living industry over time.
The position offers the chance to shape storytelling for a design-focused company with North American reach, ambitious creative goals, large-scale productions, elevated brand initiatives, and an increasing focus on editorial content, experiential design, and cultural relevance.
If you are energized by creating stories that live across environments, media, and experiences, this role offers that opportunity.
