The role is centered on building meaningful cultural partnerships that help a major technology organization strengthen audience connection, expand visibility, and reinforce brand relevance. It blends cultural understanding, creative thinking, relationship management, and cross-functional delivery.
You will spot emerging opportunities across industries, platforms, and communities while making sure every collaboration reflects the brand’s values. This is a senior, high-impact position for a marketer who can turn strategy and ideas into practical programs that deliver measurable impact in a fast-moving environment.
What you'll do
- Design and carry out a partnership strategy that identifies opportunities to improve cultural relevance, deepen audience engagement, and create durable brand value.
- Develop and oversee a strong pipeline of collaborations with influential people, organizations, platforms, and institutions across relevant cultural areas.
- Assess opportunities using criteria such as audience fit, alignment with values, credibility, creative upside, and strategic importance.
- Own partnership programs end to end, from early concepting and positioning through negotiations, creative development, campaigns, events, experiences, and activations.
- Act as the main marketing contact for major external partners and maintain trusted, productive relationships.
- Build persuasive partnership stories and value propositions that clearly show shared objectives and mutual benefit.
- Work closely with internal teams in brand, creative, communications, partnerships, legal, research, and regional functions to deliver initiatives successfully.
- Identify opportunities in areas such as entertainment, sports, design, education, science, arts, and other cultural spaces that can reach priority audiences.
- Create systems for finding, ranking, and managing partnership opportunities across markets and categories.
- Set success measures and review performance using audience insights, engagement metrics, cultural indicators, and brand impact signals.
- Turn market trends and learnings into recommendations that improve future partnership decisions and execution.
- Protect brand integrity by ensuring every partnership aligns with organizational standards, values, and long-term goals.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience in brand partnerships, cultural marketing, strategic partnerships, integrated marketing, entertainment marketing, sports marketing, or a related discipline.
- A track record of creating partnerships that improved brand relevance, widened audience reach, or strengthened credibility with important communities.
- Strong cultural awareness and the ability to identify the people, organizations, platforms, and ideas influencing audience behavior.
- Sound brand judgment with the ability to evaluate opportunities for authenticity, strategic fit, creative potential, and long-term value.
- Proven skill in turning early concepts into effective partnership strategies and delivered programs.
- Experience creating campaigns, content, events, experiences, or activations with external collaborators.
- Excellent relationship-building ability, including comfort working with executives, creators, institutions, and varied external stakeholders.
- The ability to explain complex missions and ideas in a way that becomes an appealing and credible partnership opportunity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including confidence influencing senior stakeholders internally and externally.
- Comfort working in highly cross-functional, fast-paced, and ambiguous settings.
- Excellent project management and organizational ability to handle several initiatives, partners, and priorities at once.
- Experience using audience insights, brand research, and performance data to measure results and refine strategy.
