Job description

About the business

The hiring company is a long-established motor importer and distributor in Ireland, known for representing highly desirable brands in its sector. With decades of trading history, it has built a strong reputation as one of the country’s leading operators. The organisation is recognised as a Great Place to Work and also holds the IBEC Keep Well Mark, which reflects a strong focus on employee wellbeing, workplace culture, and how the business operates.

This role offers the chance to join a company that values both the brands it represents and the people behind the work.

Role overview

This is a visible, high-impact marketing position responsible for shaping the Irish market approach for one of the most recognisable and aspirational brands in the category. The role centres on creating brand appeal through consistent storytelling, memorable customer experiences, and close collaboration with a global brand team to adapt campaigns for local needs.

You will also work with a dealer network to deliver activations that make the brand tangible and engaging across Ireland. The position suits someone who can turn global direction into local campaigns, partnerships, and events while working with trusted local stakeholders in a business that takes pride in its brand reputation.

Key responsibilities

  • Build the annual Ireland brand plan in line with global priorities and direction.
  • Use brand tracking, competitor review, and consumer insight to shape marketing plans.
  • Represent marketing as a growth function in monthly business planning discussions.
  • Strengthen the global brand strategy through active dealer engagement.
  • Create and execute omni-channel campaigns designed around the consumer journey.
  • Own and improve the full customer journey from first contact through conversion.
  • Turn campaign data and insight into practical recommendations and next steps.
  • Drive the online-to-offline marketing approach and improve website effectiveness.
  • Lead planning and delivery for new product launches in Ireland.
  • Organise brand events that create strong real-world brand experiences.
  • Identify opportunities to expand brand reach and market presence.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Irish media contacts relevant to the brand.
  • Manage key sponsorships in the Irish market, including a prominent TV production partnership.
  • Brief, guide, and review external agencies to ensure strong results.
  • Work closely with global marketing teams and handle approval processes efficiently.
  • Position the Irish marketing team as a best-in-class centre of excellence.
  • Partner with the local dealer and distribution network and support local marketing teams.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to partner marketing teams on local plans.
  • Review partner marketing activity for brand alignment and handle rebate funding processing.
  • Prepare budgets with a clear business case, investment logic, and expected return.
  • Manage the full annual brand budget.
  • Track campaign performance against KPIs and report outcomes and learnings to senior leaders.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience delivering successful marketing campaigns, preferably within a premium or high-end consumer brand environment. A BSc or MSc in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related subject is preferred.

Strong practical knowledge of both digital and traditional marketing is important, along with proven experience in improving digital customer journeys and running lead generation and nurturing campaigns from end to end. Experience working with international or global stakeholders is also expected, as is agency management experience.

Skills and competencies

  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Strong marketing analytics and insight interpretation skills.
  • Confident stakeholder management across internal and external partners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage several priorities at once.
  • Self-directed approach with the ability to prioritise independently.
  • Brand affinity and the credibility to represent a premium brand.
