About the Role
The Lunch Bag is seeking an energetic Brand Ambassador to cover the Sligo/Mayo area and represent the company in primary schools. The role suits someone who enjoys promoting healthy food, working with children, and being active out in the community.

The Lunch Bag is among Ireland’s fastest-rising school meal providers. Through the expansion of free hot school meals, the company aims to make nutritious, varied lunches available to every child on a daily basis, while reducing waste and removing cost barriers for families.
Key Responsibilities
- Distribute promotional material to schools.
- Act as a consistent representative of the company’s image, values, and culture.
- Assist schools with the delivery and presentation of hot meals.
- Provide guidance and hands-on support to School Meal Operatives, including help with ovens, probes, and related equipment.
- Make sure food handling and safety procedures are properly followed in each school.
- Develop positive working relationships with principals and school secretaries.
- Take part in promotional work and wider community-facing activities.
Candidate Profile
The ideal person is friendly, self-assured, and comfortable engaging with children. They should communicate clearly, present themselves well, and stay organised while managing a flexible workload. A proactive mindset and the ability to work effectively within a busy team are important.
Experience Advantage
Previous exposure to customer service, sales, marketing, or promotions will be helpful, though it is not stated as mandatory. The role may especially appeal to someone with an active lifestyle or involvement in GAA, coaching, or family-oriented activities.
Requirements
- Full, clean Irish driving licence.
Working Pattern
This is a permanent, full-time position. The standard schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 16:30.
