Barista - Tuk Tuk Operator

Role overview

Haven is looking for a friendly, energetic Barista to work as part of the Costa Coffee team in a mobile Tuk Tuk setup at its holiday park in Berwick-Upon-Tweed. This role brings quality coffee directly to guests across the park, combining barista work with a unique on-the-move service style.

The position is available as full-time, part-time, or seasonal, and the pay can be up to £12.71 per hour depending on age.

What you will do

• Prepare a range of Costa drinks such as espressos, lattes, cappuccinos, and similar favourites while maintaining Costa’s quality and flavour standards.
• Operate a mobile coffee unit, keeping it tidy, arranged, and fully stocked while following all health, hygiene, and food safety expectations.
• Greet guests warmly, take orders, and suggest drinks to help create a positive and memorable customer experience.
• Work efficiently and accurately during busy periods so guests receive quick service wherever they are in the park.
• Move the Costa Tuk Tuk around the site and position it in busy areas so guests can easily access coffee throughout the day.

What we are looking for

Previous barista or coffee-making experience is helpful, but training will be provided for the right person. You should also have customer service experience, a welcoming personality, and a willingness to support guests.

Applicants need to be comfortable working outdoors across different locations in the holiday park, and must be available for weekends, holidays, and variable shift patterns.

For insurance reasons, applicants must be at least 18 years old and hold a full clean driving licence.
