Role overview
Haven is hiring a Security Team Member to help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, owners, and team members at its holiday park in Poole. This position is part of a 24-hour security operation and is suited to someone energetic, people-focused, and comfortable with varied daily duties.
The role is available on a full-time, part-time, or seasonal basis, and the pay rate is £13.32 per hour.
What you will do
- Carry out regular patrols and monitor the holiday park to help keep everyone safe.
- Oversee site entry and make sure only authorised guests, owners, and other permitted individuals can access the park.
- React quickly and professionally to incidents such as medical emergencies, alarm activations, or guest-related concerns.
- Record incidents carefully and share updates with management when needed.
- Offer polite, helpful support to guests by answering questions and providing information.
- Work closely with colleagues across the park to support a secure and enjoyable atmosphere.
Requirements
- A valid SIA Door Supervisor licence is essential.
- Prior security experience is beneficial, especially in hospitality or leisure settings.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to stay calm, professional, and effective under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and good observation skills.
- Availability for shift work, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
