The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, high-volume bar environment, exhibiting expert cocktail making skills while providing exceptional customer service with a friendly demeanor.

Our hotel, located in the vibrant heart of Hobart, houses 221 rooms and features exquisite dining experiences, including the 'Tesoro' Modern Italian Restaurant with offerings across all meals, room service, and event catering.

Responsibilities

• Foster an inviting and warm atmosphere, transforming each customer interaction into a memorable experience.
• Craft innovative cocktails and mixed drinks, demonstrating mixology flair in a dynamic setting.
• Engage enthusiastically with guests, showcasing hospitality expertise and teamwork.
• Support other operational areas as needed, adding diversity to the daily tasks.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven experience in bartending within a bustling, high-volume venue.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and industry trends.
• Creativity in beverage preparation and presentation.
• Passion for exceeding guest expectations through outstanding service.
• Ability to multitask effectively and manage time efficiently.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with a positive attitude.
• Flexible availability to work a rotating 7-day roster including late nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Possession of a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
